Careers at Skypoint Recovery
Join our team and help people across Richmond and Virginia build lasting recovery. If this work matters to you, we would like to hear from you.
Why work at Skypoint Recovery?
Our work is simple to describe and meaningful to do: we help people with substance use and mental health conditions find their way into recovery and stay there. Every role on our team, clinical or not, is part of that.
We believe addiction is a treatable condition and that lifelong recovery is possible. We treat each person as an individual, without judgment, and we expect the same respect and care in how we work with each other.
- Mission-driven. You will see the difference your work makes, from a first phone call to a person’s step down into outpatient care and recovery housing.
- Recovery-centered. Our programs follow a full continuum of care, and people in recovery are part of our community. Lived experience is valued, especially in peer support roles.
- Team-based. Counselors, case managers, peer staff, admissions, and housing staff work together on each person’s plan. Nobody on our team does this work alone.
What kinds of roles do we hire for?
Openings vary over time. As an outpatient treatment and recovery housing provider in Richmond, the roles we hire for generally fall into these areas:
- Clinical counseling. Providing individual, group, and family therapy within our outpatient levels of care.
- Case management. Helping clients with practical needs such as coordination with other providers, benefits, and planning for life after treatment.
- Peer recovery support. Supporting clients with the perspective of someone who has walked the road of recovery.
- Admissions. Being the first voice people hear when they call, verifying insurance, and guiding them through assessment.
- Recovery housing. Supporting residents in our sober living and transitional housing.
- Administration. Keeping the program running, from billing and records to scheduling and operations.
If you don’t see your exact role listed, you are still welcome to reach out and tell us how you would like to contribute.
